To keep track of behavioral issues...put a piece of masking tape on your wrist. Use it to tally the problem behaviors. At the end of the lesson/day/time period, put the tape on a folder....Viola'....DATA :)
Writing Fluency: Give a sentence starter, let students think for UP TO 1 min. Then have them respond for (x) minutes.
Scoring: Capitalization, punctuation, spelling, word pairs (2) and fluency. Can chart points on a graph (MATH) and then compare week to week if their individual writing samples are improving.
